Young people deserved to be equipped to navigate a society that encourages them to accept and embrace racist behaviors, policies, and legacies. Maya Claude Teaching and Learning's Youth Anti-Racist Book Club (ABC) allows students to explore, analyze, and reflect on what it means to be an anti-racist thinker, be-er and doer for justice.
Our inaugural book is the ever-relevant Stamped: Racism, Anti-Racism, and You by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi.
Make a donation to ABC.
Maya Claude Teaching and Learning is working to make sure this is a process young people don’t have to pay for. Donations allow this experience to be completely free, including the book of study. We would greatly appreciate any monetary assistance.
